Biography

Chen Bohua, Department of Plastic Surgery, Zhujiang Hospital of Southern Medical University, Chief Physician, Associate Professor, MD. He graduated from the Plastic Surgery specialty of the First Military Medical University of the Chinese People's Liberation Army, has practiced medicine for nearly 40 years, and has served as a professor of plastic surgery for 23 years; he has been a visiting scholar in multiple countries. He once represented Guangzhou in a national cosmetic surgery competition and won runner-up. His study “Research on the Development and Extended Application of Subdermal Vascular Network Flaps” won the Second Prize of the National Science and Technology Progress Award. He was the first to propose biomechanical comprehensive rhinoplasty, greatly increasing the success rate of rhinoplasty and freeing rhinoplasty patients from the trouble of multiple revisions, achieving success in one procedure with lifelong benefits. He was the first at Zhujiang Hospital to receive the “Guangdong Nanyue Outstanding Graduate Student” title and the “Hong Kong Tsang Hin-chi Scholarship”; he received one each of the Second Prize of the National Science and Technology Progress Award, the Second Prize of the Military Medical Achievement Award, and the Third Prize of the Military Science and Technology Progress Award. His paper “Research on Arterial Architecture of the Nose, Breast, and Face and Rhinoplasty, Breast Augmentation, and Facial Rejuvenation” won a National Outstanding Paper Award for Young and Middle-aged Researchers. “Research on Multimedia Teaching Courseware for Breast Plastic Surgery” was awarded a “Double Hundred Plan” Education Fund project by the General Logistics Department. “Application of the Multimedia Optimized Combination Teaching Model in Plastic Surgery” won a Teaching Achievement Award from the First Military Medical University.
